After returning from his latest quest Y/N proceeded to return home. As he approached the door he was stopped by Kei who seemed to be out of breath.
Y/N: "What's wrong Kei"
Kei: "An... Urgent... Quest..."
Y/N leads Kei into his home and sits her on the bed. He then brings her a cup of water.
Kei: "Thanks"
She gulps down the water as Y/N steps back.
Y/N: "So about this urgent quest"
Kei: "Oh yeah, A Deviljho is terrorizing hunters and other monsters and it's getting a little to close too here... The commander wants you to capture it.
Y/N does a double take as he feels as if he misheard Kei.
Y/N: "What did you say?"
Kei: "I said you have to capture the Deviljho"
Y/N: "Oh, great"
Kei: "Yeah I know, they can be real assholes sometimes"
Y/N: "Tell me about it"
Kei walks over and plants a kiss on Y/N's cheek.
Kei: "You'll be fine, plus you can take P/N with you"
Y/N: "P/N is busy"
Kei: "With what"
Y/N: "Doing the whole prowler thing now and going off solo"
Kei: "Awww that's a shame... I could go with you!"

Kei: "Are you sure?"
Y/N pats Kei's head.
She lets out a confused oh which then turns into a soft coo as Y/N rubs her head. Kei blushes and nuzzles into it lovingly. Y/N chuckles at this and it reminds him of how a dog would act. (Can't wait for MH Rise!!!)
Y/N: "You're pretty cute when your happy"
Kei nuzzles his hand harder. Y/N soon stops patting her head and is met with whine.
Kei: "Awwww"
Y/N "What?"
Kei: "I was enjoying that"
Y/N: "Is that so?"
Kei: "Yes... Made me feel so loved and protected"
Y/N: "You are loved and protected by me and if anyone has anything to say otherwise... Well let's say that I'm better at fighting with my hands than my weapon"
Kei: "Really?"
Y/N: *chuckles* "Just watch"
Y/N stands back and then give Kei a demonstration. He throws various punches and nimble and swift kicks.
Kei: "Wow"
Y/N then does a backflip kick and lands perfectly.
Kei: "What! How did you do that?! You should teach me some moves"
Kei throws her fists up and punches the air, making sound effects as she does so. Y/N chuckles at Kei. Kei smiles at him and they both leave his house. Y/N heads up to grab something to eat. Once done Y/N then waves as he begins to leave. Kei does the same as she watches the wingdrake carry him away. Y/N soon arrives in the Ancient Forest and begins to follow some tracks. the scoutflies eventually catch on and lead him. Y/N hears a distant roar and rushes ahead. The ground starts shaking and Y/N dodges out of the way as an Anjanath comes barreling down the path and off to another area.
???: "That's right, you better f*cking run!"
Y/N follows the voice and soon comes to a clearing. Standing in the center was a muscular female. The only clothing on her is a jacket with spines on it, a bra that barely covers her breasts, some unbuttoned shorts, and what appears to be a bag with matching spines like the jacket.
???: "Oh a hunter... Do you want some too bitch"
The female takes a fighting stance. Y/N reaches for his weapon but then stops.
Y/N: "I'm not looking for a fight, just to talk"
The girl growls through her face mask.
???: "Talk is cheap"
Y/N begins to approach the girl.
Y/N: "I'm looking for a very aggressive Deviljho, I'm assigned to capture it and bring it in to see why it's so violent"
The girl takes off her mask to reveal her face had curled into a toothy smile, brandishing the sharp fangs hidden beneath. The "bag" you saw slowly uncurled and was revealed to be a long tail. The girl pulls her mask back on and cracks her knuckles, her veins pulsing in her muscular arms. Her eyes glow a fierce golden aura as she takes fighting stance again.
???: "Looks like you found her"
Y/N: "Oh... This is weird... Soooooo"
Deviljho: "What? Here to kill me?"
The Deviljho girl scoffs.
Deviljho: "You Hunters are puss*es, hiding behind armor and those big ass weapons"
Y/N looks at her with a "really" expression. He then gestures behind him where the Anjanath had run off. He then shrugs it off.
Deviljho: "I bet you all have forgotten the best way of combat... Hand to hand with no natural boost to defense and if I'm being honest... I f*cking refuse to let anyone or anything defeat me otherwise"
Y/N: "Oh... Okay"
The Deviljho girl drops her guard, almost as if she's startled by Y/N's response.
Deviljho: "What?"
Y/N sets his weapon down and begins to remove his armor.
Deviljho: "What are you doing?"
Y/N: "Getting ready"
The Deviljho is completely confused as Y/N finishes removing his armor. He begins to stretch his arms and legs, getting his body limber and ready.
Deviljho: "You're here to capture me, right?"
Y/N: "That's the plan"
Deviljho: "Then why are you removing your armor"
Y/N: "You said you wouldn't let anyone defeat you if it wasn't hand to hand and no unnatural boost to defense right?"
Deviljho: "Yes and your point is?"
Y/N finishes removing his stretching and puts his hands up, ready for battle.
Y/N: "I have completely full intentions on capturing you, soooo... Let's fight"
Deviljho: "Maybe I misjudged you, human"
The Deviljho girl cracks her neck and smirks.
Y/N: "The names Y/N, et tu?"
The Deviljho scoffs as if disgusted he asked.
Deviljho: "Doesn't matter"
The two begin to circle each other.
Y/N: "Of course it does"
Deviljho: "Fine, just so you can scream it at the top of your pathetic lungs. My name is...
A/N: I have no ideas for a name... Any suggestions? Part 2 either later on today or Saturday also I have decided to do these in parts to make it easier on myself as well as be able to push these out quicker. Hope you enjoyed this so far!
