The bride wore a dress of navy sheer with white accessories and a corsage of small white chrysanthemums. Miss Adams wore a printed crepe frock with corsage of sweet peas. Following the wedding, a reception was held in Greenville at the home of Mrs. W. L.

Robbins, aunt of the bride. Mrs. Robbins was assisted in entertaining by her daughters, Misses Louise and Jo Ann Robbins cf and her nieces, Misses Percy Darwin, Betty Ann Darwin and Doretha Darwin of Whitewright. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

L. H. Darwin of Whitewright. She was graduated from Whitewright High School and North Texas State Agricultural College of Arlington. Mr.

Harper, the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Harper of McKinney, received his high school education at Plano, and attended Abilene Christian College at Abilene for two years.

He served the local Church if Christ as minister for about two years, resigning recently to become minister of the Atoka Church of Christ. Mr. and Mrs. Harper left Sunday night for a short wedding trip, after which they will be at home in Atoka. Mrs.

Daniel of Lone Oak were guests of Mrs. W. Cox Sunday. Senator W. Lee candidate for re-election, and Hal Collins, candidate for Governor, paid Whitewright an unheralded visit Wedne day morning.

Scheduled to speak at Bonham at 12:30, they utilized some spare time by visiting several nearby towns, stopping briefly at each The Post Office Department has authorized a change in time for rural carrier to leave the local post office on their daily rounds. H-D Club The Whitewright Home Demonstration Club met in the home of Mrs. Elmo Wallace Thursday with Mrs. Van Claborn as co-hostess.

Fourteen members were present and two visitors, Mrs. Horace Ashlock and Miss Eva Sue Merritt of Sherman. Miss Merritt gave a very interesting demonstration on windows and curtains. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Ralph Wallace July 23, at 3 p.

Bridal Shower Misses Sallye Hamilton and Margaret Coggins were joint hostesses at a party and shower Thursday at the home of Miss Hamilton honoring Miss Martha Jo Darwin, bride-elect of Allen Harper, minister of the Church of Christ in Atoka, Okla. Entertainment consisted of games and contests, after which the guests were invited to the dining room by the ringing of wedding bells.
