KFC Cole Slaw
KFC Cole Slaw Restaurant Recipe gets it right.
Why is it that stores NEVER get Cole Slaw right?
Restaurants do.
Delis do.
Home cooks do (sometimes).
But every time I buy a prepacked container of cole slaw I am disappointed.
It always tastes — too sour or something. When you make cole slaw at home or get it in a restaurant it is usually sweet and creamy, like this version from KFC. Or like that little bowl of heaven they bring you with club crackers at a good diner. A place where the waitress says “Here ya go, Hon” when she sets it down.
KFC gets Cole Slaw right. And our KFC Cole Slaw Restaurant Recipe gets it right. So now you can at home, too.
(By the way — I have the same complaint with bottled 1000 Island Dressing and most Tartar Sauces. Why is it so hard to make bottled sauces that are mild, sweet and creamy?)
Oh, well. As I said, here is a recipe for a good creamy version like they serve at KFC.
